WALYA (65) lives in a decaying village in the depths of the Russian province. Her life consists of work and care of her often drunken son PETKA (32) and teenage grandson DIMKA (18). As Grisha (65), a friend from her youth appears in the village, memories of an happier life awaken. Walya allows herself a trip out of her daily routine.

A novelistic short film about the harschness but also the scurrilities of the everyday life in the Russian province and the beauty of the moment.
